Rules
INCOME TAX SLAB FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2017-18
Salient Features:
·      The benefit of Rs 12,500/- to all those persons whose Income is between 2,50,000/- to 5,00,000/-.
Eg: If your Gross salary is 5,50,000/ after deduction first split 5,50,000 into two parts 5,00,000 and 50,000/-
Then Tax will be calculated as
 (500000-250000) x 5/100 + 50,000x20/100=12,500+10,000= 22,500/-
NPS
·   Exit from scheme will be at age of 60 Years in which 40% of the amount is invested in annuity and 60 % can be withdraw.

·   Exit from scheme will before the  age of 60 Years in which 80% of the amount is invested in annuity and 20 % can be withdraw.

 Ans:The DA for Students is Rs 350/- per  Day for further

Ans:  Hotel Charges Per Day is Rs 750/- and Food Charges is Rs :225/- Per Day ,Travelling Charge per Day Rs 150/-  within City for Grade Pay 4200 to 4800.

                                                                                                 
·      If an employee of a Kendriya Vidyalaya assumes duties of his/her post within two hours of the commencement of the school work or exactly at the end of two hour after the commencement of the school work, he/she shall be deemed to have joined the post in the forenoon and shall be eligible to draw pay and allowances for the day. If however he / she assume duties of his/her post later, he / she shall be deemed to have joined the post in the afternoon in which case he/she shall be eligible to draw the pay and allowances only from the next day.

·   Every employee of the Sangathan shall retire on the afternoon of the last day of the month in which he attains the age of sixty years. 

·      For Local Journey DA is only Half rate.  SR 71,GIO(2).
·      Absence from Headquarter will be reckoned from midnight to midnight and will be calculated as

If length of absence < 6 hours  ( 30 % of Lump sum Amount )
If length of absence is between 6-12 hrs  ( 70 % of Lump sum Amount )
If length of absence  > 12 hours  ( 100 % of Lump sum Amount )

Casual Leave
·      Late attendance : Late attendance upto an hour for not more than two occasions in a month can be condoned by the competent authority ,if convinced that is due to unavoidable reasons.
·      It should not normally granted for more than 5 days at any time ,except under special circumstances.


Increment 
·        Qualifying period for earning an increment is 6 months on 1st July.

GPF RULES
·           Recovery to be stopped 3 months before retirement on superannuation.

KVS NATIONAL AWARD
    The teacher recommended should not have put less than 15 years of service in KVS out of which the applicant should have completed not less than 5 preceding years of continuous service in the category under which applying the award. Principals with 20 years of service and vice principal with 15 years of service in KVS and who have worked for minimum period of 02 years in particular cadre can be considered for the eligibility of the award.
GENERAL
(a)    No employee shall be granted leave of any kind for a continuous period exceeding five years.

Unavailed joining time will be credited with E.L

       If an employee is ordered to join the new post at a new place of posting without availing full joining time to which he is entitled or he proceeds alone to the new place and joins without availing full joining time and takes his family later within the permissible period for claiming transfer T.A., the unavailed period (full JT limited to a maximum of 15 days minus availed JT), will be credited to his Earned Leave account. If the addition results in the total EL at credit exceeding 300 days, the excess will be ignored. This concession is not admissible for transfer in the same station – Rule 6 (1) and GIO (6).



General Query
Query l:( child care leave) men maximum 89 days lene sambhandhi koi clause hai kya? My wife is applying ccl for my newborn son for 268 days continuously. she is in jnv. Kya koi samasya aa saktee hai kya? Please guide according rules.


Ans:On leave of 90 days or more, lien to the post is lost i e post will be assumed vacant and can be filled by other. So on joining your wife will get another station if post is filled during leave time.

      You can refer this rule

    Sir,is there any circular or kvs order that an emplo can not avail ltc in autumn/winter break.
    Our office staff said to recover such ltc.

    The leave travel concession shall be admissible during any period of leave, including casual leave, special casual leave, maternity leave or vacation. It can be availed of during leave preparatory to retirement provided the return journey is completed before the expiry of leave. The concession cannot be availed during the weekend or any other period of holidays alone.

      But the problem is not solved.The clerk says the holidays in Autumn n Winter are not vacations these are breaks.If you any information order or circular about this then please share .
      In such condition they often used to say kvs is an autonomous body.
      Hope you will guide us regarding this.
